Importer Security Filing 10+2

What is Importer Security Filing?

The ISF, also known as 10+2, is required for import cargo arriving to the US by vessel. It must be transmitted to CBP no later than 24 hours prior cargo loading. Failure to comply with ISF requirements could result in liquidated damages of $5,000, increased inspections, and delay of cargo.

Do I need an ISF Bond?

If you already have a Continuous Bond, there will be no need to purchase a separate ISF bond since your Continuous Bond covers both entry and ISF. If you do not already have a Continuous Bond and wish to import using a Single Entry Bond, a separate ISF bond will be needed.

How do I file ISF?

Simply complete the Power of Attorney form authorizing JK SolutionPro to transact Customs business on your behalf, and fill out the ISF data form. Email both documents to info@jksolutionpro.com or send the forms directly through the Chat box.
